The Florida Center for Behavioral Health Workforce is committed to translating data and stakeholder insight into meaningful policy and system-level change across the state.
We engage subject matter experts and analyze workforce data to develop evidence-based best practice guidelines and policy recommendations that reduce barriers and support the growth and retention of Florida’s behavioral health workforce.
We assess the effectiveness of new and existing workforce-related policies to ensure they fulfill legislative intent and improve access to behavioral health care.
We educate students, educators, providers, and organizations about relevant workforce-related policies to promote accurate and informed implementation and broader adoption.
We collaborate with partners across the state to implement policy and innovative practices. Our team offers technical support and evaluates the impact of those efforts on the behavioral health workforce.
